About Karen Strid

Clients describe Karen Strid as attentive, detail-oriented, and a fabulous negotiator. A lifelong Radnor resident and one of the Main Line’s most accomplished real estate professionals, Karen leads The Karen Strid Team—an award-winning group now proudly affiliated with Compass Main Line.

Before joining Compass in Q4 2025, Karen spent 11 years at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, where her team ranked as the #1 Small Team in the United States in 2025. Karen and her team will sell around $175mm in 2025, earning recognition as one of Pennsylvania’s top-producing small teams. Known for a concierge-level approach and unmatched local expertise, Karen and her streamlined Compass team continue to deliver exceptional results for discerning buyers and sellers across the Main Line.

Karen’s track record includes the top three highest resales in Radnor Township history, including an $8.2 million home that she and her team represented on both sides—turning it into a $16.4 million transaction in 2025. Her deep understanding of land development has also shaped the area’s landscape: she represented the sale of more land at the historic Ardrossan Estate than any other agent and procured 46 acres and partnered with Pohlig Builders to create and sell Stoney Knoll in Berwyn, a 17-home luxury community.

Before real estate, Karen built a nationally recognized sales and consulting career managing large-scale IT projects, achieving #1 status nationwide with The Judge Group. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Hahnemann University, where her thesis work and experience focused on women with eating disorders. Karen worked in the field of Psychology for four years doing group and individual psychotherapy, before leaving to go into the consulting world.

Karen lives in Villanova PA at Ardrossan with her husband, Erik, and their two King Charles Cavaliers, Eddie and Louie. They enjoy getaways to Avalon, NJ, where some of their happiest moments are spent boating with friends and family. Their grown children—Carter (finance, NYC), Max (graduate school at Babson, Boston), and Emma (SMU Cox School of Business, Dallas)—all attended Episcopal Academy and Emma also attended Academy of Notre Dame de Namur.
